This design came way far back from the 1920s and got really popular around the 1970s. The leather cuffs were designed in this way to prevent discolouration of brass watch cases from sweat. Worn by pilots because the thick leather pads can prevent the bare wrist from getting uncomfortable when the cockpits of fighter and bomber aircraft gets very hot or cold inside.
Pull-up patina
Meticulously handcrafted with top-grade Italian calfskin which produces slight patina overtime. Smooth finishes with subtle patina over pulls and bends over a prolonged period to create a vintage and distressed graining to accentuate the look of the watch.
Hypoallergenic lining
Designed to cater to individuals who might be sensitive to leather, we have specially used anti-allergic lining to ease the discomfort that you may have with leather straps.
